We are a husband-and-wife team who, despite founding Lever’s Woodshop in 2023, certainly aren’t newcomers to the world of cabinetry. My husband, Adam Lever, is a talented master craftsman and the son of Art Lever, founder of Lever’s Cabinet Shop in Anderson, South Carolina. Having grown up in the trade, Adam picked up his first piece of sandpaper at age seven and built his first set of cabinets by age 15. Adam continued to hone his cabinetry skills as he worked alongside his father in the family business until 2021. It was then that we took a giant leap of faith and relocated to North Alabama to continue the legacy of quality craftsmanship already established in the Carolinas.
Despite a difficult transition, we believed that the Lord would go before us and prepare our way. And prepare our way, He did! In February 2023, with no fancy machines, no local investors, and no established list of potential clients, with truly nothing but God's grace, we established Lever's Woodshop. A successful first year confirmed that God indeed had a plan for our family in Alabama and daily we continue to seek and trust in His will. We are so grateful for the friends and community who became like family to us during this process, our incredible clients and repeat customers, our local vendors and suppliers, and most of all, to Jesus Christ who has blessed our family immensely and carried us every step of the way; none of this would have been possible without His grace and blessings!
When not building cabinets, we enjoy spending time with our four children (Ethan, Claire, Cameron, and Arwen) and our "grand-dog", Timber; working on personal projects around our home; hiking Hurricane Creek; and visiting family in South Carolina.
Best shop dog ever!

Adam doing what he loves most- climbing! Not only does Adam create beautiful cabinetry, he is also a natural-born rock climber and has competed at both regional and national levels.

Not only did Adam's dad teach him the tools of the trade, he also instilled in him a love of the outdoors and all things adrenaline. Whether in the shop learning the tools of the trade or outside, rock climbing, mountain biking, or kayaking, Adam and his father Art share a special bond and memories that will last a lifetime.
